(I know, I said I don’t like Apple products, but I felt it was my duty to blog about this.)
So Apple has finally come clean with their tablet. It’s the iPad. First up, it’s time for specs:
- 9.7″ screen, multitouch capacitive
- 820.11n wireless internet (optional AT&T wireless)
- Accelerometer and compass
- 0.5″ thick
- 1.5 pounds
- Bluetooth 2.1
- Speaker and mic
- 30 pin dock connector (like iPods)
- 10 hour battery life
- 1 Ghz processor
- iPhone OS
- Optional dock, physical keyboard, and case will be available
So now, pricing: we’re looking at $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB. If you want AT&T service too, add $130 more to whatever model you pick, plus a contract-free data plan of $14.99 for 250MB, or $29.99 for unlimited. It’s compatible with all App Store apps, and they’ll also be coming out with an iBook store to buy ebooks for the iPad. If you want one of these, they’ll be released late March, or wait until April if you want it to have an AT&T SIM card slot on it.
dude this is exactly like the sony reader. only apple went too far as too add internet to it. i personaly prefer (for these things) sony. apple should stick to phones and ipods

Yeah, the iPad is too close to iPOD. haha And the sim card slot wont be like normal At&t sim cards. Haha I cant wait till a jailbreak for it. oh the possabilities

Geez,Apple are going mad. This is nothing but a big iPhone with an e-reader. I recommend you get a laptop rather than this piece of crap. Also,they probably will Jailbreak it as it is you know what. Tell me when Apple are going to make a handy invention that can save your life. Come on man!

I think the iPad is a desperate attempt to make a computer. Its name is restarted and it is way overpriced. ($499 minimum????? WTF) I personally like Apple over most companies, but this was just an EPIC FAIL.

Too EXPENSIVE and it should have a CAMERA and FLASH and JAVA (the capitals are for apple :-]). If it had all that, it would BE GOOD, but instead, it fails, of epic size.
