Not much exciting stuff happened to the iPod family today. We now have a 160GB iPod classic for the same $249, updated iPod touches with better processors, and more memory for less money ($199 8GB, $299 32GB, and a new $399 64GB), and the shuffles..well, they just got new colors. As for the iPod nano, well…

It’s now got a camera that snags video at 640×480, built in pedometer with Nike+ sync, FM radio, voice recording, and a slightly larger screen. Even so, the 8GB model will remain at $149, where as the 16GB model is only $179.
But I can’t stop scratching my head about one thing in particular, and I bet you guys will be too….
Why in the hell is the nano the only one with a camera?! If the iPod touch had one like rumored, that would be one heck of a portable device to have! I mean, I can’t imagine why they would do this only on the nano….I’m baffled.
And no, no Apple Tablet was announced. Boo.
You guys came up with the idea, so here it is! This is a contest to make an intro for my Youtube videos! But what’s in it for you? How about 20 bucks? Here’s how it’ll throw down:
-The intro must be 5-10 seconds long, at a resolution of 640×360.
-DO NOT use copyrighted music. Then the videos can’t be submitted for revenue sharing on my Youtube partnership.
-(Optional) Use footage from my videos for the intro, or pictures.
The (tentative) deadline is August 15th. So how will the prize work? If you win, I will forward the $20 to your Paypal account, or use your parent’s if you don’t have one. If you have no way of having access to Paypal, I’ll send you $20 worth of Wii Points to your Nintendo Wii. If I can’t get it to you either of those ways…we’ll work something out. I’m not mailing a check though. I don’t trust the Postal Service with mailing a cookie crumb.
GOOD LUCK!

Alright, here’s the scoop: you may or may not have noticed that I am now a Youtube partner. Yays all around.
Now being a partner means I get to have banners on not only my channel page, but all my videos. I’m no computer artist, so here’s a contest for you all.
The channel banner needs to be exactly 960×75, and the video banner needs to be 300×45.
If you make a banner and I like it, not only will it be used (durrrr), but I’ll also mention you and give full credit in the first video of mine that has the banner.
Let loose your creativity, and good luck!
I don’t know what happened. I had it recording, but my internet briefly died twice throughout the broadcast, which each time cut out the recording. Sucks, because I know a lot of you, because of time zone differences, couldn’t watch it. So the only part of the broadcast it saved was the first third… Sorry…
Listen to this! Not only am I getting $900 for my tax return, but…well, this is insane. Apparently, I’m getting ANOTHER $500 because somehow, somehow, I qualify for that couple’s stimulus thingy.
………????
I’m gonna be honest here, not only am I NOT married, I’m totally single! How in the hell….?!
I mean, our family friend, who’s an accountant, did our taxes, and basically said “Well, you qualify, I’m not sure how, but I guess I can technically give it to you.”
There’s only one thing to do now! ……eBay is dot “com,” right? =P

To make it as small as it is, all of the controls have been moved to the headphone cord. At first, I thought it was a bad idea, since if your headphones go bad, you’ll have a useless iPod. Luckily, Apple has said that they’ll release an adapter that can go on any pair of headphones to make them like the official ones. This sucker actually speaks the name of the song to you as well. You can buy this new iPod right now, and it goes for $80.
Now I wonder when Radioshack will stock them…
(And yes, this IS real, just go to apple.com)
Ok, so at work today, I had a customer looking for headphones for their iPod that they bought for their kid. They said that although it came with headphones when they bought it online (uh oh, bad sign right there), the headphones did not fit. It turns out although the headphones were right, they’re a MAD snug fit. Like, I had to jam a pair of ours in there, and I swear I thought I was breaking it.
Anyway, onto the “iPod.” It look almost exactly like a 4th gen. nano. The similarities:
-Same length and width
-Same oval shape
-Headphone jack (and connector which looks a lot like an official connector) in the right spots
-Click wheel very official looking
That’s about it. NOW, the differences:
-Although screen outline is the same size, the screen itself is smaller
-Is just a tad thicker
-Switch on top is an on-off switch, not a hold switch
-Had “iPod” logo on back, but all words on the back were in a plain Arial font
What sucks is that I couldn’t get a look at the interface of the “iPod,” and it’s sadder that I don’t think the mom knew it was a fake. I’m just curious if anyone has any info on this MP3 player. Can anyone shed any light on this?
I don’t understand how my Youtube video advertising this website has almost 1000 views and counting, and yet, there’s such little turnout on this site. Not only that, but you know how many people watched the live broadcast last Sunday?
Ten.
I’m not blaming you readers or anything, I’m just mad confused. The numbers just don’t add up! *sigh* I dunno, I mean, if you have friends that would be interested in this website, let them know!
Well of course, if you’re reading this, you’ve found this website (perhaps earlier than you were supposed to). I’m gonna try my best to not make this like every other blog in the internet. Oh yeah, and the site’s still under construction.
